This 1.4 16v Corsa Sport is prepared by NT-R for Russell Akers. Currently Russell is competing in the National Mobile Windscreens Castle Combe Saloon Championship in his first year of racing.

Saturday 2nd August - The weather was very wet for Russell's first competitive qualifying. Not that it seemed to bother him, qualifying 4th in class (out of 9). The weather changed to very hot and sunny conditions for the race. After two red flags, due to accidents and oil on circuit, Russell retained his grid position, finishing 4th in class with a best lap time of 1:32.8.

Sunday 3rd August - 3rd in class!! Not bad for Russell's second ever race. He finished the race with 4 other class D cars behind him, as well as a class B Alfa Romeo. Best lap time was 1:29.3 some three and a half seconds quicker than Saturdays time - some progress!
